Hi everyone- sorry for the delay between postings- here is a sampling of excuses.
Computer slow
Wauwatosa NOW webmaster's standards too high
Dog ate it
Too many channels on cable
Wife needs attention
A Couple things-
#1- If you haven't had a chance to participate in the volunteering efforts for the new Hoyt park and pool, visit www.friendsofhoytpark.org and sign up for the big "weed out" coming up on 10/16, 10/23 and 11/13.
#2- Too bad that Steak and Shake is now closed and we are stuck with an empty building on 124th. The management wanted to be a 24hr operation- (like every other S and S in the country) but our alderpeople at the time apparently felt that would be a detriment to the neighborhood. I don't know if the limited hours was the reason for their demise but it certainly didn't help them.
