FROM BLOB TO DOG
My broken foot in 2001 caused me to become a walker. I couldn’t bike with a cam-boot on, but I could walk, and walk. Which I did, and still do.
When I walk rather than bike, I have a more intimate relationship with my surroundings. I notice more, have more time to think about what I see, to run into friends, to develop a pedestrian social life! Many of my blogs are written in my head as I walk.
