events, exhibits, performance, time

Oops, today is Thursday, time's running ahead of me,
And I can't seem to pull up even,
My toes walk into a room
While my hair's already leavin'

Isn’t it true? Doesn’t that happen to you? An event in the distant future is suddenly here. It seems we’re living event-immersion lives.

There are two coming up at ROSENBLATT GALLERY, 181 N Broadway, in the next few days. I’ve been meaning to write about them, but decided I had plenty of time. Today I realized I’d better skip my ballet class. Time, running ahead of me, is about to run out!

On SUNDAY, March 11, 1 PM, there’s a CD release party for Heather Lee and a poetry reading by our daughter, Sarah Rosenblatt, who will read from her next book, AN OOMPH THAT MAKES EVERYTHING MATTER. Heather will perform songs from her 2nd CD, INTO THE LIGHT and will also celebrate her birthday. You can enjoy music, poetry, stories, birthday cake, fun, friendship, and artwork from the Rosenblatt family and several guest artists in a lovely, intimate setting. Freewill donation (suggested $5) to support the band: Bob Parduhn, Tom Duffy, and Dale Kellison.

On FRIDAY, March 16, 6 PM to 10 PM, we’ll have a Show Closing Party for Joe Boblick, Steve Hopkins, Davey Noble, Elizabeth White, & Thomas Szolwinski. Dance, chat, nibble snacks, and immerse yourself in works of art!
