Morin brothers to meet for final time as Woodland wrestling coaches

Tosa wrestling

When Wauwatosa East/West co-op wrestling team hosts Greenfield on Wednesday, it will be another battle of the brothers - Kent Morin of Tosa against Keith Morin of Greenfield.

"I honestly don't know what the record is between us as far as dual wins," Kent said. "It is pretty even if not even tied."

Keith, 61, has coached 38 years, 32 at Greenfield, and this is his 9th season as the head coach at Greenfield.  He is planning on retiring after this season, so this will be their final Woodland Conference meeting barring invitational or post-season meetings.
Kent, 51, is in his 18th year of coaching.  He was an assistant coach at Greenfield, then spent 7 years as head coach at Greendale, then two years as a volunteer assistant at Tosa before taking over the head position 8 years ago.
"Our teams attend two of the same camps in the summer, MSOE and Waunakee, so our guys know each other well and often are workout partners," kent pointed out.
"It is a very friendly competition between friends versus an intense rivalry.  Don't get me wrong, both teams want to win."
