What's on your mind this election season?

The race to be Brookfield's next mayor and the contest to be Germantown's Village President are just two of the hotly contested races that voters will decide April 6. There are also a number of key school board races that will have an impact on the community.

What are the issues and who are the candidates that you care about the most this election season? Let us know what you think in our election forum!

  1. I thought marcello would get more votes in Brookfield. Maybe he will run again in 4 years?

  2. I encourage voters to cast their ballots for Robert Perry and Mary Cyrier for Mequon Thiensville School Board. Both have proven experience as incumbents and bring significant strengths to the board. Mary Cyrier has been very active in her first term and her human resource background is invaluable as contract negotiations have a strong impact on the overall budget. Robert Perry has served three terms and has the long range insight into the changing landscape for the district, particularly in regards to funding and enrollment issues. The school board has seen considerable turnover in the past 3 years. Three members are in their first term and one in the first half of the second term. While there are benefits to bringing in new perspectives, there needs to be a balance with members who have experience and know the longer range history of the district. Please vote for Mary Cyrier and Robert Perry on Tuesday, April 6th.
