Brookfield East's Alec James has been voted the NOW All-Suburban Football Player of the Year for 2012 after leading his team to a school-record 10 victories and a trip to the third round of the WIAA playoffs.
James, who also is the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Player of the Year, will play on scholarship next season at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Wauwatosa West's Matt Good was named the NOW Coach of the Year.
